Roberto FE Soto
Roberto FE Soto (born October 12, 1960) is a Cuban-American communicator and educator who specializes in media, start ups, turn around projects and has covered politics, conflicts, and natural disasters. He has served as a producer for various major media organizations, including The Washington Post and NBC News. In 1987 he was the first and the youngest executive at Televisa owned Univision. Soto has written and produced award-winning broadcasts and documentaries in Spanish as well as in English. Before starting his teaching and global media consulting career, he served as NY Bureau Chief for Associated Press TV. Soto publishes (Dose of News ), (CITY IMAGES ) and has been a guest commentator on popular media programs. Soto has earned advanced communication degrees and holds multiple awards, while he and his staff members have won various prestigious achievements, including 100 Influential Hispanics, Dupont and EMMY Awards. Soto was born in Habana (Cuba) and raised in USA. He completed a BFA degree in Speech from FIU Miami and a Masters from WPUNJ, Wayne, NJ in 1987.
